To order please go to our website at:  www.herfforlando.com or on campus in the cafeteria, Thursday, September 2nd during the evening from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.  Also, Saturday September 4th from 10:00-12:00 noon to take your order and answer questions.

 

We are excited to announce, the school will have its first Ring Ceremony early February.   Please make sure to order by Oct. 15th to guarantee your ring will be here in time for the ceremony.

Page 9 Dress Code:  ID Lanyards

The student’s current VHS official school I.D. must be worn around the neck on a lanyard or on an I.D. clip.  The student’s I.D. must be visible at all times.

 

Page 18 Tobacco and Nicotine Use

It is unlawful for any person under the age of 21 in the state of Florida to use tobacco or nicotine products in, on, or within 1000 feet of the real property comprising a public or private elementary, middle, or secondary school between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and midnight.  This section does not apply to any person occupying a moving vehicle or within a private residence (Florida Statute 386.212).  Further, it is unlawful for any person under 21 years of age to knowingly possess any tobacco or nicotine products such as snuff, chewing tobacco, cigars, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes (Jules/Vapes), any type of liquid tobacco/nicotine product, or tobacco paraphernalia.  Anyone violating this statute commits a noncriminal violation punishable by a 3-5 day out-of-school suspension, behavior contract, and will receive a citation and a $25 fine by the Sumter County Sheriff's office.

 

Any student, regardless of age, will not be allowed to use tobacco, electronic cigarettes (Jules/Vapes), or nicotine products while on campus or at any school-sponsored or affiliated event. Any student violating this policy will be subject to disciplinary consequences.

21-22 Cap and Gown Orders

Mandatory Cap & Gown Fee - $75

EVERY SENIOR MUST purchase a cap and gown. All payments must be payable ONLY to Herff Jones at herffjones.com or (407) 647-4373. You may NOT pay the school for this fee. This fee includes the graduates' cap, gown, tassel, and gold medallion. Other larger packages, including graduation announcements, are available for a larger fee and can be viewed at herffjones.com.

*Please Note: If you miss the December 17th, 2021 deadline, the fee will increase to $95.
