Course Description for Honors Biology and Biology:

Biology is devoted to the study of living things and their processes.  This course provides an opportunity for students to develop scientific process skills, laboratory techniques and an understanding of the fundamental principles of all living organisms.  Students will explore science as a process, ecology, cell structure and function, genetic and hereditary, evolutionand classification, diversity of living organisms, and an introduction to animals' structure and function.

**You will not be given hard copy of the textbook.  You will have access to the online textbook through Pearson Easy Bridge.  You can find Pearson Easy Bridge on your tvcs.org bookmarks.

NOTE SCIENCE FAIR WILL BE OPTIONAL THIS YEAR.  IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO DO A SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT.  IF YOU COMPLETE A SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT, YOU WILL RECIEVE EXTRA CREDIT.
