Welcome to Mr. Stroud's Class!

Hello,

My name is Mr. Stroud, and I teach 8th grade U.S. History Advanced. So far, it has been an awesome year, but I am aware that some parents are struggling with following the material. All of my assignments are posted as a "Due Assignments" on the Friday of that week. For example, if an assignment says Week 15 Assignments, you can go to the Friday Assignment tab and see all of that week's assignments. You should be able to see assignments early enough to know what is going on. All PDFs posted will be due (uploaded and "turned in" that Friday evening for full credit. )We will still be using a lot of technology, so please be patient and make the best use of Google Classroom and the links below to follow along with your student.

About myself, I was born and raised in Texas, where I received my B.A. in History/English, and moved to Florida to be closer to my wife's family. Before moving to Florida, I lived in Tucson, Arizona, where I received my M.A. from the University of Arizona. Go Wildcats!! I love hiking, biking, running, reading and writing, and am very excited to work with you all this year. A little bit about my classes below:
