Welcome to 7th Grade Civics! Listed below is pertinent information regarding my class:
The purpose of this course is to promote civic virtue through education of civics and an understanding of the political process at our various levels of government. Students will gain a working knowledge of the concepts and principles of the founding documents of this country. They will further develop their skills of historical and current events analysis. The coursework encourages students to fulfill their duties and responsibilities as good citizens. It will also serve as an introduction to the world of Economics. Students will have an opportunity to practice public speaking through various projects and activities. As a result of this course, students will be better prepared for participating in the world around them as they become informed citizens ready to impact their communities.
Here are some sample Civics EOC items to help you prepare for the state Exam in early May:

Welcome to 6th Grade Physical Education! Listed below is pertinent information regarding my class:
You need a sling bag for PE to hold your:
PE uniform
shoes (if wearing ones other than school shoes)- NO CROCS
deodorant (HIGHLY recommended)
We will be labelling all PE clothes and sling bags during class, but if it can be done ahead of time, that would be FANTASTIC!
Shirt should have LAST NAME written on the back, large enough to read (can be printed a Custom Apparel, or can just be in black Sharpie
Shorts should have LAST NAME on the outside of one leg, at the bottom, opposite side of the V.
ALL SHIRTS and SHORTS should be labelled, if you have multiple sets
Shoes, if spearate for PE should have name on the inside of both shoes
Sling Bag should also have LAST NAME, FIRST INITIAL on the OUTSIDE of the sling bag!
This will be VERY helpful, but we will be doing this during the first week if necessary.
